Week of June 9 - June 13

We are reviewing a great deal of algebra...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...watch the video's I have chosen. Do the PRACTICE problems that go with them. The only way to study for a Math Exam is to PRACTICE similar problems.
The Math Final will be Friday JUNE 20th in the am.

June 2 - June 6

We begin FINAL Review this week!Students are to have a folder designated as their Math Final Review folder. I have encouraged them to recyle one from the bottom of their locker. We will be streamlining our review to include the kinds of questions most likely to be on the test. All work is to be kept in their folder.
This week we are reviewing combining like terms, solving 2 step equations, solving equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign, using algebra to find missing angles, and angle relationships. How much fun is that?
Our final is the first one up on June 20th in the am.
I have attached a link (Review Day #) which has video's that explains the concepts behind each of the concepts we are reviewing. Check it out for extra help!
THERE IS HOMEWORK EVERY DAY THIS WEEK!
Peace

Week of May 27 - May 30th

Math 7 Honors and Math8

We will be finishing up our work with quadratic equations and start a mini-unit on different ways to express the same mathematical idea. We will talk about tiling around the edge of a pool and all that different equations that can express the amount of tiles we will need.
Binders will be collected at the end of this week and early next week. Be sure to straighten them out. Next week we begin the review process for the final! The math final will be Friday June 20th.

Week of May 5- May 9th.

Not sure what happened last week but that post seems to have dissappeared!
Anyway....
We start a brand new and final Marking Period! We continue our work with Quadratic Equations, so far everyone thinks they are easy.
